Today was my first day of a one-year access scholarship at the Australian Print Workshop, due to the generous Australian Print Workshop Collie Print Trust Scholarship for Emerging Victorian Printmakers I received at my grad show in November last year. Thank you, APW Collie Print Trust! I am very excited and looking forward to a very special year.

Please come and see Tacit Editions 2017.  This exhibition features the work of 47 Victorian printmakers, and includes prints from my Camellia series.

My 27 prints at Tacit are presented as one piece of work, and are made from camellia flowers; the flowers both coloured the paper and acted as the matrix, providing the abstracted shapes which I very occasionally added to with pencil or paint.

This work is about accepting what came with the wind as the best possible subject matter for a collaboration with the present moment.

Tacit Editions opens February 8 this year, and runs till February 26.
